Антикоагулянт кумаринового ряда для лечения и профилактики тромбоэмболических заболеваний.
Варфарин не обнаруживается в грудном молоке. Никаких проблем не наблюдалось у младенцев, матери которых лечились. Плазменные уровни варфарина у таких младенцев были неопределяемыми.
Даже в случаях случайной передозировки у матери у младенцев не было никаких клинических проблем и/или показатели коагуляции не изменились.
Американская академия педиатрии утверждает, что это лекарство обычно совместимо с грудным вскармливанием.
