Трициклический антидепрессант, активный метаболит амитриптилина. Пероральное администрирование от 3 до 4 раза в день
выделяется в грудное молоко в клинически незначительном количестве (Wisner 1997, Breyer 1995, Matheson 1988, Brixen1982) без проблем, не наблюдаемых у детей с грудными вскармением от лечащих матерей. (Wisner 2002, 1997 Y 1991, Misri 1991, Brixen1982)
Уровни, обнаруженные в плазме этих детей, были очень низкими или не обнаруженными. (Wisner 2006, 1996 Y 1991, Birnbaum 1999, Altshuler 1995, Brixen 1982, Erickson 1979)
Экспертные авторы считают, что использование этого лекарства безопасным или, вероятно, безопасным во время грудного вскармливания (Hale, Uguz 2021, Sriraman 2015, Hübner 2012) . Наряду с сертралином и пароксетином, он считается одним из самых безопасных антидепрессантов во время лактации .
